We are currently seeking a reliable and safety-focused Shipper/Receiver to join our client's manufacturing team in Edmonton. Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you'll play a key role in shipping, receiving, inventory control, and overall warehouse operations while ensuring materials move efficiently throughout the facility.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with manufacturing warehouse experience who is comfortable handling large, heavy-duty products and operating material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Package and prepare oversized and heavy-duty units on pallets for shipment.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials safely and efficiently.
- Receive, inspect, and verify inbound goods for accuracy and quality.
- Process shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with carriers and customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using Oracle.
- Support order processing, invoicing, and warehouse documentation.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure smooth material flow.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean,
organized workspace while following all Safety, Environmental, and 5S standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Certified or hands-on experience operating a forklift, reach truck, and pallet jack.
- Experience handling oversized or heavy materials.
- Ability to lift and move heavy products safely.
- Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy.
- Experience with Oracle or other ERP inventory systems is an asset.
- Previous lead hand or supervisory experience is considered an asset.
