Maintenance Person - Full Time

Monastery Hotel and Spa and Leaside Manor Suites and Executive Apartments has an immediate need for a Maintenance Person.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general property maintenance and repairs, ensuring all facilities are in excellent condition.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and equipment to identify and resolve issues proactively.
- Assist with renovation projects, including minor construction and carpentry tasks.
- Handle snow clearing and winter preparation to maintain safe access to properties.
- Execute general cleanup tasks to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and residents, providing excellent customer service.




- Maintain knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry to address a variety of maintenance needs.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize and schedule maintenance tasks efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in property maintenance, preferably in a hotel or apartment setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

A valid driver's license is an asset but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
