(English 8 x 1, English 9 x 1, Social Studies 8 x 1, Social Studies 9 x 2, English First Peoples 12 x 1, Contemporary Indigenous Studies 12 x 1)

Temporary: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027, or full return of the incumbent

NOTE: This assignment may end prior to the end date.

Qualifications:

- BC Certification
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary) or equivalent
- Undergraduate degree with a major or minor in the above subjects
- Demonstrated current knowledge of the renewed curriculum for the above subjects, the learning outcomes and appropriate resources
- Previous successful experience teaching the above subjects
- Experience with a variety of learning management systems
- Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching and assessment strategies




- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and classroom management skills

The annual salary for this position ranges from $64,012 to $118,237, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
