Senior Accountant, Audit & Assurance | $85,000–$105,000 | Toronto (Hybrid)

Occasionally, you find a CPA firm that offers both.

This established mid-sized Toronto CPA firm is looking for a Senior Accountant to work with publicly listed businesses, private companies and owner-managed clients. You’ll gain exposure to technically interesting assurance work without disappearing into an enormous corporate structure.

What you’ll do:

- Lead audit and review engagements from planning through completion
- Prepare and review working papers, financial statements and disclosures
- Work with clients across sectors including technology, mining, real estate, manufacturing and financial services
- Identify and resolve accounting and assurance issues
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Communicate directly with clients, managers and partners
- Assist with corporate tax and other year-end work where required

What they’re looking for:





- At least 3 years of recent Canadian CPA firm experience
- Experience leading audit or review engagements
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and Canadian Auditing Standards
- CPA designated, pursuing the designation or successful completion of the CFE
- Experience reviewing junior staff members’ work
- Solid communication, organization and client-service skills
- CPA firm experience is required
