Modine Manufacturing is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Supervisor / Lead to oversee quality assurance and quality control activities within our manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for leading quality initiatives, supervising quality personnel, driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with customer and regulatory requirements, and fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.

The successful candidate will collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to ensure products consistently meet established quality standards while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and supervise the Quality team, providing direction, coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with Modine quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and enhancing product quality.
- Monitor and maintain Quality Management System (QMS) requirements and support compliance with ISO standards and customer-specific requirements.
- Conduct process, product, and system audits to verify adherence to quality procedures and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead root cause investigations related to quality concerns, customer complaints, internal non-conformances, and supplier issues.
- Implement and verify corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure effective resolution of quality issues.
- Analyze quality performance metrics, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide recommendations to management.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, and Supply Chain teams to improve product quality and process reliability.
- Support new product launches, process validations, and production readiness activities.
- Manage non-conforming material processes, including containment, disposition,



and corrective action follow-up.
- Develop and deliver quality-related training programs to employees and supervisors.
- Support customer audits, regulatory audits, and third-party certification audits.
- Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence throughout the facility.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 1-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS), ISO 9001, and manufacturing quality processes.
- Experience leading root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, or similar problem-solving tools.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, or related operational excellence methodologies.
- Experience with quality audits, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), or equivalent certification.
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.
- Experience in metal fabrication, HVAC, industrial equipment, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC), PFMEA, control plans, and quality improvement methodologies.

Pay: $79.00-$100.00 per year
