Behrends Bronze is looking for a reliable, hardworking General Labourer to join our team in Edmonton.

This is a hands-on position working primarily in our finishing department, where you will assist with the production and finishing of high-quality metal plaques, aluminum letters, signage, and other custom products.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is willing to learn and take on a variety of tasks in a busy manufacturing environment.

Duties

- Your responsibilities may include:
- Assisting with the finishing and preparation of metal plaques and aluminum letters
- Sanding, grinding, cleaning, and preparing metal products
- Assisting with painting, finishing, and other production processes
- Moving and organizing materials throughout the shop
- Operating a forklift to move materials and finished products
- Assisting other departments when required
- Packaging and preparing completed products for shipping




- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Performing general labour and shop duties as needed
- Learning new skills and assisting with a variety of manufacturing projects

Qualifications

- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow directions accurately
- Basic understanding of safety procedures relevant to construction or industrial environments
- Prior experience in general labour or related roles is a plus but not mandatory
- Valid certifications such as OSHA safety training or forklift operation (preferred but not required)

Pay: $15.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
