Overview

Join our dynamic plastic manufacturing team as an Injection Moulding Technician and become a vital part of producing high-quality plastic components. In this energetic role, you will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot injection moulding machines to ensure efficient production and top-notch product quality. Responsibilities

- Set up, operate, and adjust injection moulding machines to meet production specifications while adhering to safety standards.
- Conduct routine inspections of moulds and machinery using hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices to ensure proper functioning.
- Monitor machine operations closely, identify issues promptly, and troubleshoot problems using CNC lathe skills, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and other control systems.
- Perform quality inspections on finished parts to verify dimensions and surface finish, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and documentation related to machine performance, maintenance activities, and quality checks.
- Assist with assembly processes when required,



supporting the overall manufacturing workflow.
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying waste reduction opportunities and participating in continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating injection moulding machines in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot CNC machinery, CNC lathes, and PLC systems effectively.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, basic math skills for measurements and calculations, and quality inspection techniques.
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with inventory management is advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles aimed at optimizing efficiency and reducing waste.
- Experience with assembly processes and quality assurance practices within a manufacturing setting.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance and process improvements.

Pay: $19.84-$24.00 per hour
