Landscape Technician

Compensation: $20.00–$30.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a motivated and dependable Landscape Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and has experience in landscape care, gardening, or horticulture. The successful candidate will assist with maintaining and improving outdoor environments for both residential and commercial clients while using a variety of landscaping equipment and tools.

Responsibilities

- Maintain lawns and landscaped areas by mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, and general upkeep.
- Operate landscaping equipment and heavy machinery, including excavators, for grading and excavation work.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot irrigation systems.
- Safely use hand tools and powered equipment for landscaping and construction tasks.
- Prepare planting areas, apply fertilizers, remove weeds, and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers.
- Support landscape installation and renovation projects.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on tools and equipment.




- Follow company safety guidelines and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work cooperatively with team members to complete projects efficiently and deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, gardening, or a similar field is preferred.
- Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and machinery.
- Experience using hand tools and power tools in outdoor work.
- Knowledge of irrigation system installation and maintenance is an advantage.
- Understanding of plant care, soil management, and landscape maintenance practices.
- Experience operating heavy equipment is considered an asset.
- Robust work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work in different weather conditions, including lifting and carrying heavy materials.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.
