We are adding three part-time movers to our roster.

IF YOU WORK A ROTATION, READ THIS

This job fits around shift work better than almost anything else. If you are fire, EMS, working the rigs, or on any kind of rotation with blocks of days off, we want to talk to you. Several of our best movers work exactly this way.

THE SCHEDULE — THE HONEST VERSION

- Shifts are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, weekdays
- You will start getting 2-3 shifts per week, and upon successful completion will move to 3-5 shifts per week.
- Roughly one weekend day a month and one evening a month, when a project needs it
- You can hold up to 4 on-call windows a month. We pay you $25 for each window you hold, whether we call you in or not. If we do call you, you are guaranteed a minimum of 3 hours pay.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Load, protect, and unload high-end furniture and décor
- Drive our trucks to job sites (Class 5 licence — no special licence needed)
- Support our stylists during installs and de-stages
- Scan every item in and out so nothing goes missing
- Help keep the warehouse organised and reset at the end of every day

WHAT YOU WILL EARN

- Start at $22/hr, plus $3/hr completion bonus for hitting the daily standard
- Raises every 3 to 6 months, up to $27/hr + $3/hr bonus




- Effective pay of $25 to $30 an hour for movers who hit the standard consistently
- $25 for each on-call window you hold
- Health benefits after 6 months if you average 20+ hours a week

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

- Physically fit — you will lift 75 lbs repeatedly, all day
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our SE Calgary warehouse, including in winter
- You answer your phone and you show up when you said you would
- You are careful. We are in someone’s home and everything we touch is expensive.
- You are professional. Clean, on time, respectful.

THE HARD PART

This is hard physical work. Some days are eight hours of stairs. Sometimes we are on our hands and knees wiping a floor because we scuffed it. We hold a real standard and we track whether people meet it.

In return: good pay, daytime hours, weekends mostly off, a team that likes each other, and a genuine path into senior mover, crew lead, or even styling if that is where you want to go.
