What You’ll Be Doing

As an General Foreperson Industrial Insulator with Breck, you’ll be responsible for leading and coordinating field operations, supervising crews and forepersons, planning and organizing daily work activities, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Breck’s standards for quality and productivity.

You’ll put your leadership and field experience to work by:

- Leading and coordinating daily field activities across multiple crews and work areas.
- Providing direction and support to forepersons, supervisors, and field personnel to keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
- Planning manpower, materials, equipment, and work sequencing to meet project schedules and priorities.
- Reviewing and interpreting drawings, specifications, work packages, schedules, and project requirements.
- Monitoring productivity, progress, and workmanship to ensure project and quality expectations are met.
- Coordinating with Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, other trades, and site personnel to identify priorities and resolve field challenges.
- Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring crews follow company, client, and site safety requirements.
- Identifying potential delays, resource requirements, and operational challenges and taking proactive steps to keep work on track.
- Supporting, coaching, and developing forepersons and crew members while maintaining accountability and clear expectations.
- Ensuring work areas are organized, materials and equipment are used effectively,



and site standards are maintained.
- Leading by example and bringing strong communication, accountability, productivity, and professionalism to every project.

Safety Is Part of the Job

At Breck, working safely isn't separate from the work, it's how we work.

You'll lead and participate in site orientations, toolbox meetings, hazard assessments, and FLHAs while following all company, client, and site-specific safety requirements. You'll be expected to properly use PPE, recognize and report hazards, and follow applicable procedures for fall protection, respiratory protection, confined spaces, hazardous materials, and other site requirements.

Most importantly, you'll look out for yourself and the people working beside you.

What You Bring

We're looking for people who are:

- Experienced in industrial construction, maintenance, shutdown, and turnaround environments.
- Proven leaders with experience supervising multiple crews, forepersons, and trades in active industrial environments.
- Strong communicators who can effectively coordinate with project management, supervision, clients, other trades, and field personnel.
- Able to plan, organize, and coordinate daily work activities to meet project schedules, productivity targets, and quality expectations.
- Experienced in manpower planning, work sequencing, material coordination, and allocating resources effectively.
- Strong safety leaders who promote a positive safety culture and ensure crews comply with company, client, and site requirements.
- Able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, work packages, schedules, and project requirements.
- Comfortable identifying field challenges, resolving issues, and escalating concerns when necessary.
- Able to monitor crew productivity, workmanship, and progress while maintaining high standards of quality.




- Confident providing direction, coaching, and support to forepersons and crew members.
- Organized, dependable, accountable, and capable of managing changing priorities in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors, at heights, and in varying weather and site conditions.
- Able to work collaboratively with other trades and departments to support overall project success.
- Committed to maintaining a respectful, professional, and productive workplace.
- Journeyperson certification in a recognized industrial trade; Red Seal Endorsement is considered an asset.
- Able to successfully complete a pre-access drug and alcohol test.
- Possess a Leadership Certification.
- Possess valid Fall Protection Certification.
- Possess valid SCOT Certification.
- Possess valid Confined Space Certification
- Registered and active member in valuable standing of Local 119

Working Conditions:

- Working indoors and outdoors
- Travel to/from/within various jobsites
- Heavy manual labour including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Daily exposure to construction environment (heavy equipment, inclement weather, etc.)

Pay: $45.03-$54.04 per hour
