Job Summary

Lifeguard/Instructors carry out both lifeguarding and swim instructional duties. They are responsible for the supervision and control of pool activities, safety standards, and cleanliness of aquatic facilities.

Requirements

Applicants will be at least 16 years old, completed Grade 10, and have the following qualifications
(please include copies of your certificates with your application):





- Red Cross Water Safety Instructor Certification

- C.P.R. “C” Certification

- National Lifeguard Certification (Pool Option)

- Satisfactory Criminal Record Check

Compensation and Perks

These are unionized positions, starting at $24.57 per hour. There are no guaranteed hours associated with these positions. Extensive weekend and evening work may be required in addition to weekday shifts.
