In the MLEO Parking Enforcement Officer position:

- Are you already licenced through a municipality as a MLEO? We are looking for you!
- You will work with the team to communicate, monitor and enforce parking control at various locations throughout multiple municipalities.
- With the knowledge and training provided by the municipality, you will gain thorough knowledge of all parking regulations, by-laws, procedures and enforcement signage, and you will issue tickets/infraction notices to illegally parked vehicles as required or instructed.
- You will complete daily incident reports, and ensure the quality and accuracy of photos and tickets/infraction notices.
- You will be paid a starting wage of $20 per hour, with a wage increase review within the first year for successful and proficient candidates. Higher wages are available depending on MLEO experience level.
- Your daily shift can be anywhere from 8-12 hours depending on the schedule, which rotates each week. Your work week is scheduled based on 40 hours per week. Overtime may be required.
- This position is for an overnight shift including weekends and statutory holidays.



Day shifts are currently not available.

Qualifications:

- Graduated with High School Diploma is required.
- A Toronto or Mississauga Municipal Parking By-Law Enforcement (MLEO) License is required.
- Graduated with or actively working toward a Police Foundations Diploma or other relevant post-secondary education is considered an asset.
- A Security License is considered an asset.
- Valid Driver's License and Driver's Abstract demonstrating safe driving behaviors are required.
- Able to pass a Police Clearance is required.
- Previous Parking By-Law Enforcement work experience is preferred.
- First Aid/CPR Certification is considered an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
