Modine Manufacturing is seeking a highly organized and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead warehouse operations and support efficient material flow throughout the manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, managing inventory accuracy, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials to support production requirements.

The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong inventory management, logistics, and people leadership skills who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, material handling, and shipping activities.
- Ensure timely and accurate movement of raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Coordinate material flow to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor warehouse capacity and optimize storage utilization.

Inventory Management

- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory transactions are completed correctly in the ERP system.
- Lead cycle count programs and physical inventory activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with Purchasing and Production Planning teams to prevent shortages and excess stock.

Team Leadership

- Lead, coach, and develop warehouse employees to achieve productivity, safety, and quality objectives.
- Assign daily work priorities and monitor performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

Shipping & Receiving

- Oversee inbound and outbound shipments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate transportation schedules with carriers and logistics providers.
- Ensure proper documentation for shipments and receiving activities.
- Investigate and resolve shipping discrepancies and customer delivery issues.





Safety & Compliance

- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and company policies.
- Conduct regular warehouse inspections and address safety concerns.
- Ensure compliance with OH&S; regulations, inventory control procedures, and material handling requirements.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions when required.

Continuous Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and material flow processes.
- Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and monitor warehouse KPIs related to productivity, inventory accuracy, shipping performance, and safety.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Robust knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling processes.
- Experience using ERP, MRP, or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Experience with inventory control systems, cycle counts, and physical inventories.
- Understanding of shipping regulations and logistics coordination.
- Continuous Improvement or Lean certification is considered an asset.

Pay: $79.00-$100.00 per year
