We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and hands-on Construction Supervisor & Equipment Operator to oversee crews and support our growing project portfolio across the region.

Requirements

- 10+ years of experience in construction and excavation
- 10+ years of experience with footings, foundations, excavation, and site servicing
- Proven experience supervising construction crews and coordinating daily site activities
- Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, site preparation, and foundation work
- Valid Heavy Equipment Operator certification
- DZ or AZ license is an asset
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, grading layouts, and elevations
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong safety record and ability to work independently
- Ability to operate excavators and other heavy equipment as required
- Must have own vehicle to travel to different job sites across the GTA

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate construction crews and daily site activities




- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for trenching, excavation, backfilling, grading, and site preparation
- Oversee footing, foundation, drainage, and site servicing work
- Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, grade stakes, and elevations
- Ensure work is completed according to project specifications, schedules, and safety requirements
- Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, trades, and suppliers
- Monitor job-site progress and identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and ensure proper maintenance
- Ensure workers follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a safe job site
- Work safely around other trades, underground utilities, and existing structures
- Maintain clean, organized, and efficient work areas
- Assist with general labour and operate other equipment as needed
- Provide direction and leadership to crew members while remaining hands-on with the work

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Casual

Pay: $40.00-$70.00 per hour
