The Assistant General Manager (AGM) is a key leader within the venue and the trusted right hand to the General Manager. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves bringing teams together, and is passionate about creating exceptional guest experiences while driving strong business results.

Responsibilities

Lead the Venue:

- Act as the General Manager’s second-in-command, providing strong leadership on the floor and ensuring a seamless, high-performing operation across all departments.
- Lead the venue in the GM’s absence and maintain a consistent focus on standards, execution, and guest experience.

Champion the Guest Experience:

- Drive exceptional guest experiences and NPS performance across every touchpoint.
- Identify opportunities for improvement, coach teams on hospitality standards, and take ownership of guest recovery when needed.

Build Our Reputation:

- Help strengthen the venue’s online reputation by encouraging positive guest feedback, monitoring review trends, and ensuring guest concerns are addressed professionally and effectively.

Drive Business Performance:

- Monitor revenue, sales, labour, COGS,



and other key performance indicators.
- Partner with the leadership team to identify opportunities to increase revenue, improve efficiency, manage costs, and deliver strong overall business results.

Develop & Lead People:

- Coach and develop Managers, Supervisors, and department leaders while fostering a high-performance, accountable, and engaged team culture.
- Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, recognition, and succession planning.

Deliver Operational Excellence:

- Ensure the venue consistently meets company standards for safety, cleanliness, compliance, and operational execution.
- Identify bottlenecks, solve problems proactively, and ensure the venue is always ready to deliver an exceptional experience.

Create Alignment & Drive Improvement:

- Keep departments and leaders aligned through clear communication, effective briefings, and strong collaboration.
- Identify opportunities to improve the business, support recent initiatives, and contribute to the venue’s continued growth and success.

Success Metrics

- NPS improvement and reduction of Detractors
- Growth in positive Google Reviews and rating
- Labour cost control within target
- Support of F&B; COGS targets
- Team retention and leadership development
- Overall venue performance and guest satisfaction

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
