Licensed Automotive Technician - Bridgewater, NS

Speedy Auto Service is seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide range of vehicles while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring repairs are performed safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

- Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
- Conduct preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire services, and brake repairs.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Follow all company and industry safety standards.

Qualifications

- Red Seal Automotive Service Technician Certification preferred.
- Automotive repair and diagnostic experience.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience:

- Automotive repair: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Automotive Service Technician Certification (preferred)
- Red Seal Certification (preferred)
- Valid Driver's Licence (required)
