Responsibilities

- Design and deliver tailored piano lessons that cater to individual student needs, skill levels, and learning styles
- Create a welcoming and motivating classroom atmosphere that encourages active participation and musical exploration
- Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching methods accordingly to ensure continuous improvement
- Incorporate fundamental music concepts such as rhythm, melody, harmony, sight-reading, and music theory into lessons
- Utilize digital learning management systems (LMS) for scheduling, tracking student progress, and providing resources
- Communicate effectively with students and parents about lesson goals, achievements,



and areas for development
- Support students in preparing for recitals, exams, or competitions to showcase their talents confidently

Skills

- Strong background in piano performance with solid technical skills and musical knowledge
- Experience working with children or beginners in an educational setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles to engage young learners effectively
- Ability to teach music theory, reading notation, and basic math concepts related to rhythm and timing
- Excellent communication skills to motivate students and collaborate with parents or guardians
- Classroom experience that demonstrates patience, adaptability, and creative teaching strategies
- Familiarity with tutoring techniques, proofreading for accuracy in written music or instructions, and special education needs support where applicable
