Complete Utility Contractors is looking for an organized, proactive individual to support our field operations and project teams.

This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys a mix of office-based work and time in the field. You’ll work closely with Operations, Project Managers, and our field crews to help keep equipment, rentals, resources and project requirements organized and accounted for.

A key part of this position will be regular site visits to verify and track company equipment and resources across our active projects.

**This could be a great opportunity for someone currently working in the field who is organized, comfortable with computers, and looking to transition into a combination office/field role. ***

Key Responsibilities:

Operations & Project Support

- Provide dispatch and operational support as required
- Assist with project start-up coordination and site visits
- Coordinate 30m33 requirements, set-up and ongoing project information
- Support Project Managers, Foremen and field crews with day-to-day operational requirements
- Help maintain accurate equipment and resource information
- Assist with coordination between the office, yard and active project sites

Equipment & Resource Tracking

- Track company-owned equipment and resources across active job sites
- Conduct regular site visits to physically verify equipment locations and assignments
- Maintain and update the company crews/resources tracking sheet
- Identify equipment that has been moved between projects and ensure records are updated
- Track equipment requiring ID welding, identification or other follow-up
- Work with Operations and field supervision to improve equipment accountability

Rentals & Vendor Coordination

- Complete weekly reviews of rental equipment
- Create, maintain and update rental purchase orders




- Coordinate the ordering and delivery of rental equipment
- Arrange rental call-offs and returns when equipment is no longer required
- Track outstanding rental returns and vendor credits
- Follow up with vendors to ensure credits and billing adjustments are received

Auditing & Cost Control

- Review and audit external trucking charges
- Audit external traffic control/flagging charges
- Complete fuel usage audits
- Review equipment idling data and identify areas requiring follow-up
- Audit internal trucking slips and supporting documentation
- Identify discrepancies and follow up with the appropriate project or operations team
- Assist with identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary rental, trucking, fuel and equipment costs

What We’re Looking For

- Some exposure to civil or heavy construction is strongly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfortable working both in an office environment and on active construction sites
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when reviewing invoices, equipment records and project information
- Confident following up with employees, supervisors and vendors when information is missing or inaccurate
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and other computer-based tracking systems
- Ability to learn construction terminology,



equipment types and project requirements
- Valid BC Driver’s License and ability to travel regularly to project sites throughout the Lower Mainland
- Construction/civil underground utility experience is considered a strong asset

The Right Person

We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just update a spreadsheet — they verify that the information is accurate.

You should be comfortable going to a project site, speaking with the Foreman, identifying what equipment and rentals are actually there, comparing that information against our records, and following through when something doesn’t line up.

This position is well suited to someone who is organized, accountable, detail-oriented and willing to get out into the field to understand what is happening on our projects.
