Assists members in selecting and ordering eyewear including frames, lenses, contacts lenses and sunglasses. Measures member's cornea base curve and determines correct contact lens for for members. Uses computer to process orders, dispenses eyeglasses and contact lenses and oversees apprentices. Provide prompt, accurate and courteous members service.
Qualifications: Registered/Licensed Provincial Ophthalmic Dispenser with all qualifications to dispense eyeglass frames, sunglasses, and ophthalmic lens options in your province or if contact lens fitter, has to be qualified to dispense contact lenses.
Permits/Licenses/Certifications. Registered/Licensed with the regulatory College in your province and/or Member in Good Standing with your Provincial Association with any required licensing for practice.
Experience: Licensed Ophthalmic and clinical experience is required
Knowledge/Skills: Attention to detail and technical aptitude. Strong organizational and time management skills. Strong communication and counseling member service skills. Robust computer, math and Google Suite skills.
Job Type:
Regular Part-Time- Minimum 25 hours per week with a maximum of 40 hours per week. Hours and shifts scheduled based on the needs of the buisiness.

Non-Essential Functions and Tasks:
Assists in other areas of the warehouse as necessary.
Typical Schedule: : Monday to Friday- As early as 8:00 am open to as late as 9:00 pm close , Sat and Sun- 8:00 am open to pm to 7:00 pm close
