Trillys Systems is a technology consulting firm specializing in secure, scalable, and enterprise‑grade IT solutions for Government of Canada clients. We are currently assembling candidates for a multi‑year Standing Offer covering several critical IT Network Services specialities.

Canada is modernizing and expanding its network infrastructure, security posture, and cross‑domain capabilities. We are seeking multiple experienced professionals to design, implement, support, and secure enterprise network environments across three major streams:

- Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Specialist
- Network Security Specialist
- Network Infrastructure Specialist

If you have experience supporting secure networks, deploying enterprise‑grade infrastructure, or implementing cross‑domain technologies, this engagement is an excellent fit.

- Location: Ottawa, ON (On‑site)
- Contract Duration: Multi‑year (up to 5 years)
- Clearance: Eligibility to obtain Canadian Security Clearance
- Experience Level: Senior or Intermediate

Available Streams

Stream 1 — Cross Domain Solutions (CDS) Specialist

What You’ll Do

- Modify and prepare operational procedures and network/configuration documentation
- Develop build guides and Standard Operating Procedures
- Deploy and configure CDS Guards and Data Diodes
- Build cross‑domain solutions including: – Linux servers – IDS/IPS appliances – Content filtering solutions – Apache NiFi data flows
- Maintain enterprise security solutions and perform patching/updates
- Configure monitoring (Syslog, Splunk)
- Respond to incident tickets and provide regular status updates
- Participate in projects and strategic planning
- Provide knowledge transfer and training on Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux

You’re a Fit If You Have

Senior Level





- Degree/diploma or 10+ years progressive IT experience
- 10+ years in:
- o Cross domain solutions
- o TCP/IP, routing, firewalls
- o CDR tools (Purifile, Glasswall)
- o ITSG‑33 accreditation support
- o Designing CDS between networks of varying classifications
- o Data Diodes (Blackline, Sphyrna, OWL, BAE)
- o Linux administration and hardening
- o SIEM dashboards, alerts, reporting
- o Scripting (Python, Bash, JavaScript)
- o Apache NiFi high‑throughput dataflows
- o CDS Guards (Everfox HSG/TGS)

Intermediate Level

- Degree/diploma or 10 years progressive IT experience
- 5+ years in the areas listed above

General Qualifications (All Roles)

Required

- Diploma, degree, or acceptable combination of education and IT experience
- Experience in one of the streams listed above
- Robust understanding of enterprise networking, security, and infrastructure
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem‑solving skills

Nice to Have

- Experience in Government of Canada environments
- Experience with secure or classified networks
- Experience with enterprise monitoring, SIEM, or automation tools
- Vendor certifications (Cisco, Extreme, Fortinet, Linux, etc.)
