About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cabinet Assembler to join our production team, building high-quality custom kitchens and cabinetry.
This is a hands-on production role working as part of a team to assemble cabinets from prepared parts and components. You will work from cabinet floorplans and production information to ensure each cabinet is built accurately, efficiently and to our quality standards.
Previous experience building or assembling cabinetry is required.
Responsibilities
- Assemble custom kitchen cabinets, vanities and other cabinetry
- Read and follow cabinet floorplans, drawings and production information
- Identify and organize the correct parts and components for each cabinet
- Assemble cabinet boxes using a cabinet press, power tools and hand tools
- Install doors, drawers, hardware and cabinet accessories
- Measure and verify components for accuracy
- Inspect completed cabinets for quality, fit and finish
- Label, scan and organize completed cabinetry for the next stage of production
- Maintain an organized and efficient workstation
- Work as part of a team to meet daily production schedules
- Assist throughout the Cabinet Assembly Department as required
- Follow all company quality and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Previous cabinet building or cabinet assembly experience is required
- Experience working in a cabinet shop or woodworking manufacturing setting
- Ability to read cabinet floorplans, drawings and measurements
- Comfortable using measuring tapes, drills, impact drivers and other power and hand tools
- Good understanding of cabinet parts, construction and hardware
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Able to work efficiently in a production environment
- Organized and dependable
- Team-oriented and willing to work throughout the department as needed
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and handling cabinet components
Experience
Required: Previous experience building or assembling cabinetry.
Experience as a Cabinet Assembler, Cabinet Maker, Woodworking Technician, Cabinet Builder or similar position would be an asset.
We're looking for someone who knows cabinetry, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working with a team to build custom kitchens from start to finish.
Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour
