We are seeking a reliable and motivated Parcel Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of 40-70 parcels daily to residential and commercial customers. This role requires a robust work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and organize parcels for delivery each day, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Operate personal vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Navigate delivery routes using a GPS or mapping system to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Deliver 40-70 parcels per day to various addresses, obtaining signatures or proof of delivery as required.
- Provide excellent customer service, including professional and courteous interactions with all customers.
- Communicate any delivery issues or delays to the dispatch team in a timely manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good operating condition of the delivery vehicle.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry parcels of various sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of local geographical area is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
- Must own a personal Vehicle
Working Conditions:
- This is a physically demanding role that involves frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Work is primarily performed outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Hours may vary and could include weekends and holidays, depending on business needs.
