Long-Term Live-In Nanny / Family Assistant

We are a warm, skilled family seeking a mature, caring, dependable and dedicated Live-In Nanny / Family Assistant for a long-term position.

We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with children and is interested in becoming a trusted and valued part of our family’s everyday life.

Position & Compensation

- $18.25/hour
- 30-40 hours per week
- Stable, long-term employment
- Private self-contained living space for only $325/month
- Includes a private ensuite bathroom, kitchenette and personal in-suite laundry
- Comparable private accommodation would typically rent for approximately $1,000/month, making this a significant additional benefit of the position

Experience

- Previous experience in nannying, childcare, teaching, ECE, nursing, caregiving or child development is an asset.
- Previous experience working as a nanny/caregiver for a family internationally, including in the Middle East/Gulf region,



is also considered an asset.
- We especially welcome candidates with an education, teaching or child-development background who enjoy supporting children’s learning and development.

Responsibilities

- The primary focus is caring for the children and supporting their daily routines, including:
- Helping school-aged children with homework and schoolwork
- Supporting children’s learning through play-based, age-appropriate activities
- Reading, crafts, educational games and other engaging activities
- Encouraging independence, positive behaviour and consistent routines
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Children’s laundry
- Keeping children’s rooms and play areas tidy and organized
- Some light household assistance related to the family’s day-to-day needs
