pre cook or cook for Chinese restaurant

Responsibilities:

Prep: Wash, chop, and portion vegetables; slice and marinate meats.

Line Support: Prepare ingredients for orders, assist the wok chef, and help plate dishes.

Cleaning: Keep the workstation clean, store food properly, and assist with daily closing duties.

Requirements:

Fast, energetic, and detail-oriented.

Reliable with good food safety habits.

Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train.

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $18.25-$23.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vernon, BC V1T 1W1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person
