Hockey Sales & Account Coordinator Position

For 17 years, Gitch Sportswear has been helping hockey teams, sports organizations, schools and clubs look their best with high-quality customized jerseys, apparel and accessories. Our founder's passion is sports, with hockey at the heart of what we do, and our products are found in arenas across the country. In this position, you will identify new business opportunities, manage customer inquiries and accounts, support company-wide sales and marketing initiatives. We offer a competitive salary, full training and a highly positive work environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

- Represent the GSW brand to a diverse range of clients using your product and industry knowledge.
- Manage inbound customer inquiries and help identify opportunities to acquire recent clients.
- Build and maintain relationships with hockey teams, sports organizations, schools, clubs, associations and other customers.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers.
- Assist customers with jersey, apparel and customization options from initial inquiry through to completed order.
- Handle order entry and processing, plus follow up with customers upon delivery.
- Create daily social media posts across all platforms.
- Attend hockey tournaments, sporting events and trade shows.
- Help identify new sales,



marketing and partnership opportunities within the hockey and broader sports communities.
- Handle other duties as required.

The ideal candidate will also be:

- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Minimum of two years of experience in customer service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. The position will require creating mock-up designs for clients.
- Passionate about hockey, sports and the sports industry, with a strong understanding of hockey culture and the team environment.
- Experience playing, coaching, managing, volunteering or otherwise being involved in hockey would be considered a strong asset.
- Comfortable communicating with coaches, team managers, association representatives, school contacts and other decision-makers.
- Detail-oriented, highly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- A friendly team player with the ability to multitask.
- Willing to learn product knowledge and new technology applications as required.

About the Role:

- Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., plus some evenings and weekends.
- Travel for tournaments, sporting events and trade shows.
- Salary plus bonuses.
- Full time with an immediate start.
