2nd & 3rd Year Automotive Apprentice Technician

OK Tire – Ewing Trail SW, Edmonton, AB

We are hiring a motivated 2nd & 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice to join our team at our brand-new OK Tire location on Ewing Trail SW in Edmonton.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a new shop from the beginning, work in a modern facility with new equipment, and grow with the business while completing your apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

- Perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and general mechanical repairs
- Oil changes, fluid services, filters, and scheduled maintenance
- Brake, steering, driveline and suspension repairs
- Tire installation, balancing, (When required)
- Assist with diagnostics and electrical repairs
- Follow proper repair procedures and industry standards
- Accurately document work performed and recommended repairs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with Journeyman Technicians and Service Advisors

Qualifications

- Registered 2nd or 3rd Year Automotive Service Technician Apprentice in Alberta
- automotive repair shop experience
- Valid Alberta driver's licence
- Own basic automotive tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Schedule

- Full-time
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability may be required during peak seasons

Requirements

- Alberta Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship registration
- Valid Driver's Licence
- Automotive repair experience preferred
