Job description:

Summary

As an Shipping/Receiving Coordinator in the warehouse, you will support the efficient management of supply chain operations, reporting directly to the warehouse supervisor. Your role will involve utilizing core skills in organizational and communication abilities, alongside premium skills in warehouse distribution and transportation management systems. You will be responsible for data analysis and process improvement to enhance logistics efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in e-commerce and materials management will contribute to optimizing inventory and order fulfillment, ensuring the seamless flow of goods within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1 ) Supporting Logistics Operations: This includes assisting with the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, such as managing inventory, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

2) Data Management: Maintaining and updating records related to shipments, inventory, and other logistics-related information.

3) Problem Solving:



Identifying and addressing potential issues in the supply chain to ensure efficient operations.

4) Documentation and Reporting: Preparing and maintaining necessary documentation for shipments and creating reports to track performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Positive communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Attention to detail: Accuracy is crucial for tasks like inventory management and shipment tracking.
- Problem-solving skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues in the supply chain.
- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles: Understanding of the various processes involved in moving goods from point A to point B.
- Proficiency in relevant software: Experience with logistics software, ERP systems, SAP and other relevant tools.

Preferred Experience:

- Previous experience in food manufacturing, inventory control, warehouse operations.
- Familiarity with lot tracking, raw material handling, and work order processing.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 44.0 per week

Work Location: In person
