Overview
We are seeking a LICENSED 310T & 310S skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in maintaining and repairing various types of heavy machinery. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. The Heavy Equipment Mechanic will play a crucial role in ensuring that our equipment operates efficiently and safely.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including excavators, dump trucks, diesel powered vehicles, hydro-vac trucks.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems before they become major issues.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols while working in the shop and on job sites.

Skills

- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for mechanical repairs.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems related to heavy machinery.




- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions, adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with welding techniques for equipment repair.
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $40.00-$55.00 per hour
