PAX International and PAX Tech, leading publications serving the international aviation, travel and travel technology industries, are looking for an experienced Freelance Part-Time Writer / Editor to join our editorial and content team.

We are looking for a strong writer and editor who can produce engaging, accurate and professional editorial, marketing and sales content for our print and digital publications.

Key Responsibilities

· Write and edit articles for PAX International and PAX Tech.

· Research aviation, airline, airport, travel technology and travel retail topics.

· Conduct interviews with airline executives, airport leaders, technology companies and industry professionals.

· Prepare news stories, features, interviews and company profiles in qualified journalistic tone.

· Write marketing and promotional articles, sales presentations, proposals and company profiles.

· Develop compelling copy for advertising packages, sponsorship opportunities, special projects and PAX awards.

· Write sales and marketing emails to airlines, airports, travel companies and technology suppliers.

· Prepare promotional copy for digital campaigns, newsletters, websites and social media.

· Help create content that communicates the value of advertising and partnership opportunities with PAX International and PAX Tech.

· Edit and proofread articles, marketing materials and sales content.

· Work closely with the Publisher, Managing Editor and Business Development team.

· Attend selected industry events and trade shows when required.

· Help develop new editorial, marketing and commercial content ideas.





· Ensure all content meets the professional standards of PAX International and PAX Tech.

Requirements

· Excellent English writing and editing skills.

· Strong ability to write both editorial and commercial/marketing content.

· Previous experience in journalism, publishing, B2B media, aviation, travel, marketing or technology is preferred.

· Strong research and interviewing skills.

· Ability to write clear, engaging and persuasive business content.

· Excellent attention to detail, grammar and accuracy.

· Ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and purposes.

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

· Knowledge of the airline, airport, aviation, travel retail or travel technology industry would be a strong advantage.

· Experience working with print and digital publications is an asset.
