TIPS Personnel is currently looking for a 3 ton and 5-ton truck delivery driver to join our warehouse team in Edmonton, AB. Drivers will mostly be working in town, with some deliveries around the city and outskirts, doing deliveries between warehouses or to other businesses who have ordered the product. Driver's will be home every night, there is no long haul trips.

The warehouse manufactures doors and hardware for doors such as locks, keys, frames etc.

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 year delivery driving experience in Canadian weather conditions
- Proven experience driving a 3 and 5-ton truck
- Valid class 5A (air-brake) full driver's license
- Physically fit, able to lift (load and unload product)
- Able to provide a clean drivers abstract
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems




- Ability to navigate various routes and road conditions

Responsibilities:

- Safely operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members regarding delivery status
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage

$20 an hour.
