Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Concrete Forming Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling concrete forms that shape and support poured concrete structures. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct forms for concrete pouring.
- Build, assemble, and install formwork using a variety of hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, hammers, and wrenches.
- Install rebar reinforcement within forms to provide structural support for concrete structures.
- Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms to meet project specifications and safety standards.
- Dismantle forms after concrete has set and clean up work sites to maintain a safe and organized environment.
- Collaborate with masons, concrete finishers, and other trades to coordinate tasks effectively during renovation or new construction projects.

Requirements

- Proven experience in carpentry with a focus on concrete forming or related construction roles.




- Strong mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, and construction materials including rebar installation and masonry techniques.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, drywall installation, caulking, welding, flooring installation, and heavy lifting.
- Knowledge of concrete finishing techniques and restoration processes is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely.
- Familiarity with schematics related to construction plans and safety protocols.

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
