Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments to promote optimal oral health.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide patient education on proper oral hygiene techniques, diet, and preventive care strategies.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared efficiently.
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks including scheduling appointments, confirming patient visits, and managing patient flow.




- Stay current with industry best practices by participating in ongoing training related to orthodontics, pediatrics, or new dental technologies.

Skills

- Proficiency with Tracker or similar dental practice management software.
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology to assist with related treatments.
- Bilingual abilities to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Experience in dental assisting and familiarity with pediatric dentistry enhances patient comfort.
- Strong customer service skills to create a positive experience for every patient.
- Ability to understand and utilize medical terminology relevant to dentistry.
- Previous experience working in a busy dental office environment demonstrating reliability and professionalism.

Pay: $55.00-$60.00 per hour
