Job Title: QA Technician – Food Manufacturing

Job Summary

We are seeking a QA Technician to support food safety, quality control, sanitation verification, and regulatory compliance in a food manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will perform inspections, testing, documentation reviews, and GMP monitoring to ensure products meet quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Perform production and kitchen pre-op inspections, including ATP testing and sanitation verification.
- Conduct GMP inspections throughout production, storage, receiving, and shipping areas.
- Verify room temperatures, O2 readings, chemical concentrations, and equipment calibration.
- Perform product, packaging, label, weight, and recipe verification checks.
- Complete QA documentation, records, check sheets, and production reports.
- Monitor CCPs, temperature logs, thermometers, and data loggers.
- Perform sanitation inspections of production and kitchen areas.
- Conduct changeover inspections and verify cleaning effectiveness.
- Inspect knives, cutters,



equipment, and production tools.
- Maintain calibration schedules and coordinate equipment calibration.
- Verify allergen controls, product labeling, storage practices, and food safety requirements.
- Support employee training on GMPs, SOPs, and work instructions.
- Perform weekly and monthly QA activities, including allergen testing, sensory evaluations, environmental sampling, facility inspections, and GMP audits.
- Maintain chemical inventory and follow up on facility maintenance concerns.

Qualifications

- Experience in Quality Assurance or food manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of GMPs, sanitation procedures, and food safety standards.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a quick-paced production environment.
- Experience with inspection tools, calibration, and quality systems is an asset.

Pay: $19.00 per hour
