Duties

- Conduct regular inspections of building infrastructure, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and structural components to identify issues early.
- Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as fixing leaks, replacing fixtures, repairing doors or windows, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions.
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment and facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management to resolve issues efficiently.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used for accountability and future planning.




- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance procedures to protect yourself and others on-site.
- Support cleaning tasks as needed to uphold a safe and hygienic environment throughout the facility.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in general maintenance work or related fields such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, or schematics to accurately diagnose issues.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying solutions before problems escalate.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities clearly.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and stand or walk for extended periods during shifts.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to building maintenance work.
- Nice-to-have skills include certification in relevant trades (e.g., electrician license, plumbing certification) or previous experience working in large facilities or industrial environments.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
