Under the supervision of the Manager - Food & Nutrition Services, you'll prepare both regular and therapeutic dishes. This position values your experience of at least three years as an Institutional Cook and demands adherence to sanitary food handling.

Engage with residents, staff, and families while ensuring attractive presentation and proper food portioning.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook regular and therapeutic foods daily
- Ensure correct portioning and presentation of meals
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment
- Assist in requisitioning kitchen supplies as needed
- Provide courteous service to residents and guests

Requirements:

- Completion of an Apprenticeship program for Cook
- Minimum of three years as an Institutional Cook
- Successful food handler training certification
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
