OverviewProject Manager– Building Science and Sustainability Team, Victoria, BCAnnual Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000We’re seeking a bright, motivated individual who is eager to make an impact and contribute to continued growth. In this role, you will lead and deliver a range of technical services including property and building envelope condition assessments, new construction and remediation design, and on-site inspection and reporting for a diverse client base. You will also oversee projects from start to finish, provide technical guidance to a team of support staff, and play a key role in driving the growth and expansion of the Building Science and Sustainability group through strong leadership and collaboration.Pinchin makes buildings and environments better. Pinchin is seeking a Project Manager to join our Building Science and Sustainability team in Victoria. The new role reports to the Operations Manager.Role OverviewThis role involves managing and coordinating a variety of project activities, including investigations, building assessments, training support, and quality assurance initiatives. You’ll be responsible for aligning the right resources, people, tools, equipment,



and documentation to ensure projects run smoothly from start to finish, while working with a diverse mix of national, regional, and local clients. The work offers exposure to a broad range of building science initiatives, opportunities to collaborate closely with junior staff and support teams to develop leadership and mentorship skills, and partnership with finance and administrative teams to support the financial management of projects. Overall, the role offers meaningful responsibility, professional challenges, and significant potential for long-term growth.Your ImpactPerform PCAs and BECAs site investigationsAuthor reports for various building assessments and field reviewsDesign and oversee building envelope restoration and new constructionSchedule and conduct site visits and inspectionsReview construction work and report on progress and quality assuranceCollate, interpret,



and analyze data in relation to regulatory and legislative requirementsCoordinate permit application activities and dutiesSchedule and supervise sub-contractors and liaise between clients and subcontractorsParticipate in business development and marketing to new and existing clientsWhat You’ll Bring To PinchinDegree or Diploma in a related discipline required5 or more years of relevant experience with PCAs / BECAs and restoration designThorough knowledge of the construction and performance of various building envelope assemblies and building science conceptsAbility to work well in a team environmentFamiliarity with invoicing, budgeting, and other areas of project related financial managementExperience with business development initiatives and client interactionCompensationPay ranges are listed as required by law.
