About the OpportunityInfinity Generation Services Inc. is seeking aProject Coordinator Co‑op Studentto join our team for the summer term. This role is ideal for a motivated student looking to gain hands‑on experience in project coordination and construction/project management while working in a supportive, professional workplace.Reporting to the Project Manager/Estimator, the Co‑op Student will assist with day‑to‑day project coordination tasks and gain exposure to real‑world projects while developing practical skills.Key ResponsibilitiesWith guidance and mentorship, the Co‑op Student will:Support project managers with coordination and administrative tasksAssist with project schedules, meeting agendas, and meeting minutesOrganize and maintain project documentation and filesTrack project progress, deliverables, and action itemsSupport preparation of client‑ready documents and correspondence, under supervisionAssist with tracking project changes, change notices, and supporting documentationExposure to basic project compliance and reporting requirements through guided support tasksSupport estimating activities by organizing quotations and project dataParticipate in project meetings as a learning opportunityAssist with purchase order setup and general project administrationHelp prepare internal progress summaries and reportsShadow team members to learn about project planning, execution,
and project close‑out documentationOccasionally attend site visits or client meetings under supervisionSupport process improvements by leveraging AI and automation technologiesWhat You’ll GainHands‑on experience supporting construction and engineering projectsAn understanding of the project lifecycle and coordination processesExposure to scheduling, cost tracking, reporting, and estimatingExperience professional communication and teamwork experienceEducation RequirementsCurrently enrolled in a degree or diploma program in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related), Construction or Project Management, or a related field. Open to co‑op or internship students.Experience & SkillsPrevious skilled trade or construction related experience is an assetInterest in learning about Indigenous relations and community engagement/participation is an assetStrong organizational and communication skillsBasic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)Familiarity with project management software (e.G., MS Project or Primavera) is an asset or willingness to learnExposure to AI or automation technologies in supporting workflow or process improvements is an assetPositive attitude and eagerness to learnProven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team based environmentAbility to obtain a Nuclear Security ClearancePosition DetailsTerm: Summer co‑opHours: Full‑time (approximately 40 hours per week)Location: BowmanvilleCompensation: Paid co‑op position, $20-$25/hr based on education and experienceFuture Opportunities: Potential for future employment for the right candidatePossibility to transition into a full time position for the right candidate.#J-18808-Ljbffr
