With $53.3 million in research funding per year, the School contributes to improving population health through research and innovation in data science, AI, maternal health, climate change, implementation science, vaccine research, and many other areas.Your OpportunityAt the Waakebiness Institute for Indigenous Health, researchers and educators collaborate with community partners and Indigenous peoples to address disparities in health. The Institute conducts research and education initiatives to improve Indigenous health care delivery and to educate students on health equity.Role OverviewThe Communications Assistant reports to the Director of WIIH and supports the development and execution of the institute’s communications and marketing initiatives. This includes editing and maintaining digital assets, creating both digital and print promotional materials, updating the institute website, managing online and social media platforms, and supporting the planning and marketing of Indigenous research seminars, workshops,
