Our experts lead their fields and guide our work with scientific rigor, an innovative spirit, and a vision for growth.Your OpportunityAs an Intern, you will work in a team environment and gain exposure to the planning, design, and construction of systems for water infrastructure projects, which may include water and wastewater plants, pump stations, water supply, distribution, bridges, etc. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students taking or having taken civil/structural engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college or university student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.Your Key ResponsibilitiesAssisting in project administration, including writing reports, gathering information, drafting proposals, drafting correspondence, tracking project costs, and completing progress reports.Assisting technical staff with various project tasks, including compiling specification and tender documents, meeting minutes,
and contract administration documentation.Performing simple structural design calculations and computer data entry.Performing research and contacting vendors for information.Completing other engineering/administrative duties as required.Assisting with construction site reviews.Your Capabilities and CredentialsProficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and take direction.Education and ExperienceEnrolled toward earning a Bachelor's degree (minimum) in civil engineering or related field.Pay RangeHourly:$23.37 – $32.07Benefits SummaryRegular full‑time and part‑time employees (working at least 20 hours per week) will have access to health, dental, and vision plans, a wellness program, health care spending account, wellness spending account, group registered retirement savings plan, employee stock purchase program, group tax‑free savings account, life and accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D;) insurance, short‑term/long‑term disability plans, emergency travel benefits, tuition reimbursement, professional membership fee coverage, and paid time off.
