Located in the heart of downtown Vancouver, between the Pacific Ocean and the Coast Mountains, Teck’s Corporate Office sits in one of Canada’s most culturally diverse cities.Surrounded by world-renowned nature and globally inspired cuisine, the office brings together many of Teck’s corporate functions — all working toward Teck’s purpose of providing the essential resources the world relies on.Role OverviewCollaborating with the Lead, Enterprise BI, the Business Intelligence Developer is primarily responsible for supporting the enterprise reporting platform, developing and maintaining existing data solutions, pipelines, and warehouses, and working with Solution Owners, Architects, Business Analysts, and other partners to support the Data Ecosystem Program.Key ResponsibilitiesBe a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and proceduresManage all areas of the Power BI cloud and on-premise report server platforms, including tenant administration, premium capacity usage, git integration, report deployment, troubleshooting user issues, gateway upgrades, and report server upgrades.Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and semantic models in Power BI.Build data pipelines, automations, scheduled refreshes, and flows using Power Automate, Powershell, and Power BI/Fabric API.Develop and maintain data warehousesTroubleshoot and maintain existing reports and data pipelines for performance and data quality.Write and optimize SQL queries to support ad‑hoc data analysis and data ingestion for reports.Analyze business requirements and design the appropriate reporting solution(s) to meet the needs of business users. This may be project‑based and/or ad‑hoc report requests, and includes developing,
implementing and working closely with the business to ensure the success of the solution.Works with Business Stakeholders on the identification of information needs and the development of analytical dashboards in Power BI.
