Position Title:Control Room OperatorPosition Type:Temporary - Full-TimeRequisition ID:41702Location:Florenceville, NB Potato PlantAbout The RoleControl Room Operators are responsible for operating and maintaining the French Fry and Specialty production lines, ensuring equipment runs smoothly, line settings are maintained, and production goals are met.What you’ll be doingEfficiently operate all computer-controlled equipment on the French Fry and Specialty LineStart and shut down production equipment as required, adjusting line settings and monitoring them regularlyMaintain close communication with production supervisors, boiler room operators, and line maintenance to ensure efficient operationsRecord line settings, production figures, and downtime hourly in SPC and PILearn recent technologies as they are implemented in the factoryComply with HACCP rules and regulationsEnsure SQCDME targets are met by understanding and setting KPI goalsFollow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Participate in Process Team meetings as requiredParticipate and record change‑over meeting minutesPerform other duties as assignedWhat you’ll need to be successfulMinimum Grade 12 education; post‑secondary education is an assetProven communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to work without direct supervisionStrong collaboration with plant supervision and production employeesSelf‑motivated, with ability to work quickly and efficiently to resolve unexpected problemsBasic computer skills required for daily routineExperience within the Fry Line and Specialty Line is a definite assetTeam player with an excellent safety and attendance recordCompensationStarting at 24.40 CAD hourly + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts.
