Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business and technical requirements to understand testing needs.
- Create detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and exploratory testing.
- Execute manual test cases and document test results.
- Identify, record, prioritize, and track software defects.
- Re-test defects after fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers and business teams to investigate and resolve issues.
- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Ensure software releases meet defined quality standards.
- Maintain QA documentation, test reports, and defect logs.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) when required.
- Contribute to improving QA processes, testing standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated tests where applicable.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies and defect life cycle.
- Experience writing clear and comprehensive test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of SQL/database testing.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, or similar.
- Valuable communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
