Join our National DC Consulting practice where we harness over 60 years of experience in delivering exceptional Advisory Services to clients with DC pension plan and other Capital Accumulation Plans (CAP). The team provides a range of advisory services including vendor searches, manager searches, member behaviour assessments, investment reviews, investment monitoring, plan reviews and governance assessments for both public and private sector clients. We have established ourselves as Consultants with a unique approach by understanding a client's DNA, culture and values to ensure our services meet and exceed their needs and expectations. Joining our team means being a part of a dynamic team that is redefining the boundaries of traditional DC consulting.What You’ll DoLiaise with internal colleagues and external service providers as needed to support client deliverables or obtain necessary informationReview data, conduct analysis and prepare investment monitoring reports including relevant capital market or manager commentariesSupport in the maintenance of proprietary databases and creation of database as directedDraft clear emails,
client reports and other communications as neededSupport on any national or internal initiatives as needed and participate in national team meetingsTake direction from, and support the DC Consulting teamSupport with client billings and tracking profit/loss metricsAttend internal training sessions to build knowledge of industry topics and trendsAssist with special projects, as requiredYou haveAppetite for learning and professional development to expand skillsMust be able to work independently or with minimal supervision but be a team player and take direction from the senior teamExcellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, along with strong professional acumen and the desire to take the initiative in helping clients find solutions.Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing assignmentsDedicated team player with strong work ethic, who demonstrates initiative and independenceAn excellent understanding of software, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointWhat You BringUniversity degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial ScienceProficiency in using ExcelNice to havesPrior knowledge and/or experience working with CAP or DC plans, investments, applicable legislation and best practices is an assetA keen desire to pursue or to work towards the CFA designationExceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing assignmentsDedicated team player with strong work ethic, who demonstrates initiative and independenceAn excellent understanding of software, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointBilingual French and EnglishSalary Range:$60,000 - $75,000. Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
