What can you expect in this role?Provide prompt, courteous, accurate and fair claims service to all customers, internal and externalManage complex and/or commercial auto claimsFully explain the claim process to all customers in a way they’ll easily understand by telephone and emailInterpret and apply policy wordings to determine appropriate coverage under a customer’s policyEnsure all claims are promptly and fully investigated, collaborating with fraud investigators when necessaryWork with the customer, broker, preferred vendors, and other stakeholders to determine the best way to resolve the claimMaintain detailed file records by entering pertinent data into the appropriate systemsProcess claims payments within your authority levelInitiate salvage and subrogation procedures on assigned claimsAchieve the targeted number of assigned claims per year, while living our core values and meeting competenciesAchieve and maintain a file disposition rate of 100% on a monthly basisOther duties as assignedWhat do you bring to the role?Whether you’re dealing with customers or co-workers, you’re always professional,



friendly and courteous.Preferably, you have a University degree in any discipline or a college diploma or the CIP designationMinimum of 1 year claims experience within APD from a claims handling or first notice of loss perspective.Knowledge of claims processes and proceduresExperience in both tort and DCPD provinces is an assetAn active adjuster license in New Brunswick or the ability to be licensedYou excel under and are comfortable with changeA demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a high volume, rapid-paced environmentStrong analytical and decision-making skills-detail-oriented and highly organizedA high proficiency with Windows based programs with excellent keyboarding skillsYou are team oriented - you value collegiality and accomplishing goals togetherYou’re an excellent communicator (written and verbal) and an even better listenerBilingualism is an asset (French and English)Salary Range: $50,200 - $92,500#J-18808-Ljbffr
