Applicants must be comfortable working with meat products (beef, pork, chicken, seafood, soy, etc.).ResponsibilitiesSetup, maintenance and continuous improvement of our food processing and packaging equipmentUnderstand and maintain Packaging and Process Control SystemsElectrical equipment (troubleshooting & repair)Electrical equipment installations in compliance with regulatory requirementsLogically perform troubleshooting techniques on complex machinery, including electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systemsPrepare work orders using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)Responsible for the Preventative Maintenance (PM) of all site equipmentProvide support to source and prepare parts for all preventative and reactive workPrepare basic dimensioned sketchesRead and understand technical bulletins, manuals, instructions and blueprintsPerform daily, weekly, monthly and annual electrical & mechanical PMsParticipate in all maintenance team meetingsParticipate in production line changeover including but not limited to conveyors, case packers,



tray formers and sealing equipmentMaintain excellent housekeeping and follow the 5S principles. Practice a "safety first" policy by addressing hazards, defective equipment, wearing personal protective equipment as required, and by reporting & correcting unsafe conditions immediatelyComply with all Health & Safety, HACCP, BRC and Good Manufacturing PracticesRequirementsMust be a Licensed Electrician.
