We are currentlylooking for an experienced Geomatics Technician in our Regina office.

Working under the direct supervision of the ReginaOffice Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, thefollowing:

Work closely with our team on setting up jobs, field dataprocessing, job progress tracking as well as survey plan checking andcomputations. Liaise closely with project management to effectively provideclients with excellent service. Follow all Midwest health and safety protocols and is committed toongoing learning in this area.

What you offer: Preference will be given to candidates who hold a degree or diploma in Geomatics and/​or SurveyTechnology from a recognized technical school. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may beconsidered.

Thesuccessful candidate will have:

Advanced comprehension of survey methodologies, land surveying actsand regulations as they apply to the practice of Land Surveying. Working knowledge of how GPS and total stations are used in thecollection of survey data. Proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset.



Understanding of Information Services Corporation’s online databaseand map viewer. Proficient with all Microsoft applications is required,specifically Excel and Word.

Key Competencies and Behavioral Attributes: Good communication skills and a strong senseof professionalism when interacting with crews, drafting staff, Land Surveyors, and clients. Excellent mathematical and computer operating skills. Exceptional organizational skills and attention todetail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects. Demonstrates accuracy, neatness, and professionalismin the development of survey products.
