About the RoleToronto, Ontario, Canada.As a CBRE Maintenance Supervisor, you will guide the team responsible for maintaining buildings, industrial systems, and equipment. This position is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function and involves providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.What You’ll DoSet team goals for performance and deadlines. Ensure compliance with the company’s plans and vision, monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching.Review tenant work orders and preventive maintenance work orders to ensure work is completed within designated time with appropriate solutions.Manage relevant building contracts (e.G., grease trap and kitchen hood contracts), schedule and review work performed.Coach & supervise a portion of the First Canadian Place Maintenance Team.Assign duties as requested.Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks.Maintain timekeeping and personnel records. Review and approve timecards.Receive escalated complaints and resolve difficult problems.Resolve complex problems and identify appropriate approaches to existing solutions to accomplish team objectives.May establish current techniques to ensure the team meets its objectives.Has a direct impact on the team objectives as well as related teams’ objectives.Ensure personal and team outcomes have a positive impact on customer objectives.Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. Guide team through basic knowledge of practices and procedures. Work to build consensus.What You’ll NeedHigh School Diploma or GED with 5+ years of job-related experience.
Prior shift manager or supervisory experience preferred.In-depth understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function and basic knowledge of related job functions required.Ability to explain complex concepts or sensitive information.Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Excellent organizational skills with a master-level inquisitive mindset.Exceptional math skills, ability to calculate sophisticated figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.CompensationThe minimum salary for this position is $75,000 annually (or $36.06 per hour) and the maximum salary is $90,000 annually (or $43.27 per hour).
