As we continue to grow and professionalize our operations, we are building the systems, processes, and talent that will support the next chapter of our evolution.The PositionWe’re seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic, multi‑entity Family Office in a highly hands‑on role reporting directly to the CFO. You’ll own the full transactional accounting cycle including AR, AP, payroll, reconciliations, and tax filings while helping build the processes and systems that keep the organization running smoothly. Beyond day‑to‑day accounting, you’ll gain exposure to more complex accounting matters and financial reporting, making this a great chance for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while working closely with leadership.Key ResponsibilitiesTransactional AccountingExecute full‑cycle accounting across multiple entities including operating companies, holding entities, and investment vehiclesProcess all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactionsSet up and execute banking transactions, including payments, transfers, and reconciliationsRecord journal entries, complete reconciliations,



and maintain supporting schedulesMaintain general ledgers and take full ownership of the accuracy of financial recordsProcess payroll and administer related remittances and filingsPrepare and file HST returns and other statutory remittancesOwn month‑end and year‑end close processes from start to finishHandle intercompany transactions across entitiesPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all entitiesProduce consolidated reporting across entitiesComplete tax compliance filings and coordinate directly with external advisorsMaintain audit‑ready documentation and manage external audit processes as requiredProcess Improvement & ControlsOptimize and document standardized accounting workflowsIdentify inefficiencies and drive process improvements independentlyBuild scalable systems to support future growthSystems & AutomationUse accounting systems (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central) to automate manual processesOwn data integrity and optimize reporting capabilitiesLead system implementations and upgrades as neededBuild templates, dashboards, and reporting tools for managementQualificationsRequired4+ years of progressive accounting experienceStrong technical accounting knowledge (ASPE)Experience managing full‑cycle accounting independentlyAdvanced Excel skillsHigh attention to detail and strong organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities across entitiesProfessional discretion and integrity when handling confidential informationAssetsExperience in a Family Office, private investment firm, or multi‑entity environmentKnowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance / Business Central)Experience with consolidations and intercompany accountingExposure to investment accounting, real estate, construction, or private operating businessesProcess improvement or system implementation experienceWhat Success Looks LikeAccurate, timely financial reporting across all entitiesClean, well‑documented accounting processesReduced manual work through automationStrong financial visibility for the CFO and ownershipWhy Join UsOwn the full accounting function — no silos, no handoffsDirect exposure to ownership and executive decision‑makingBroad scope across diverse entities and investmentsBuild systems and processes from the ground upClear path for growth as the Family Office expands#J-18808-Ljbffr
