The Langley South Junior Youth Associate provides vision and leadership for the Junior Youth Ministry at our Langley South site. This role focuses on discipling students, equipping volunteer leaders, partnering with parents, and creating engaging, gospel-centered environments where students can grow as followers of Jesus.You will plan and lead weekly programs, preach regularly, develop leaders, and collaborate closely with the Senior Youth Associate and Village Kids team to build a solid, holistic youth ministry.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee weekly Junior Youth gatherings, including midweek programs, Sunday mornings, events, camps, and retreatsRecruit, train, support, and disciple volunteer youth leaders and teamsPreach regularly at Junior Youth gatherings and develop preaching skills within the teamBuild meaningful relationships with students, leaders, and parents through consistent communication and follow-upPartner with the Senior Youth Associate to create a cohesive youth ministry strategyCoordinate worship, production, and program logistics for Junior Youth eventsEnsure smooth transitions for Grade 5 students into Jr.
