We’re looking for a versatile, persistent product engineer at Ashby who will build reusable building blocks across the stack and advocate for the time and space to do so. Engineers ship features end‑to‑end at a high pace, and you’ll help maintain that cadence.About the RoleAs a product engineer, you will take ownership of a large portion of one of our products and drive projects end‑to‑end, wearing hats traditionally worn by product and design.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn projects end‑to‑end, collaborating across teams to define scope and deliver high‑quality features.Research competitors, write product specifications, create wireframes, and prototype solutions.Make technical decisions, design system components, and implement architecture that serves a large user base.Iterate quickly, respond to feedback from customers and stakeholders, and maintain a clean codebase.QualificationsExperience across the full stack—front‑end, back‑end, and infrastructure.Comfort working in ambiguous environments, balancing speed and quality.Solid collaboration and communication skills—able to vet decisions with stakeholders.Drive for high impact and continuous improvement; actively propose abstractions or tools that increase leverage.At least senior‑level experience,
